Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease, characterised by the build-up of thick mucus in mucin-producing organs such as the lungs, sinuses, pancreas, intestine and reproductive organs. It is a life limiting illness, but advances in treatments over recent years have seen life expectancy for patients with cystic fibrosis increase.

It is a challenging and complex disease to manage. We take the time to listen and truly understand what it is like for patients living with cystic fibrosis, and know that every patient is different.
